Neurosurgical problems in the pediatric age group are often difficult and complex. Comprehensive care for the full range of brain, spine, peripheral nerve, and craniofacial disorders in children and adolescents is a priority. Pediatric brain tumors, epilepsy, Chiari malformations, tethered cord syndrome, craniosynostosis, and hydrocephalus, are commonly dealt with pediatric neurosurgery wing.

Pediatric head injuries are a challenge and a multi-disciplinary approach for such patients involving the pediatricians and the rehabilitation team is required which will bring in the best possible results.
